Testimonials

Teacher/Student Reviews

Louis T - Health and PE Learning Leader

"Our recent self-defence sessions with Team Carlo Taekwondo were an excellent addition to our Health and Physical Education program. Caroline was engaging and built strong rapport with students from the very first session. She worked closely with us to create a customised program that suited the needs of our curriculum and our students. Her experience and knowledge in self-defence were evident throughout, and our students left each session feeling more empowered and informed. We look forward to working with Caroline from Team Carlo Taekwondo again."

Stephanie F - Health and PE teacher

"Caroline delivered a 5-week self-defence program with our Year 10 HPE girls at Ave Maria College, and she was outstanding. Each session thoughtfully built on the previous week, allowing the girls to grow in confidence, skill and understanding over time.

Caroline was engaging, relatable and spoke to the girls at their level, using real-life scenarios and language they genuinely connected with. The program included meaningful partner work, and Caroline created a safe, supportive environment where students felt comfortable sharing personal experiences and asking questions.

The girls were highly engaged throughout the program and gained not only practical self-defence skills, but increased confidence and awareness. We would highly recommend Caroline and look forward to working with her again."

Victoria V - Year 10 Student

"I really enjoyed the self defence sessions that Caroline taught my year level over the span of a few weeks. We learned practical skills that made us aware of our surroundings. It was engaging, useful, and taught in a way that was easy to understand and remember. Caroline was also very understanding and patient which created a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. She worked through each step, giving a clear demonstration and explanation of each defensive position and focused highly on technique of how to perform the action. Highly recommend, thanks Caroline. "

Samantha V- Student

"The self-defense workshop has given me a sense of confidence and strength. I highly recommend their programs for anyone looking to prioritize personal safety."
